Building a dashboard at EIGN [λ].

I studied Systems Design Engineering at uWaterloo. Founded an AI for material science startup (Direct Atomics), and a VC backed lightweight, writable alternative to graph Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). Built AI content detection using transformers at Cloudflare early 2022 (before LLMs were hip), reasoning models and RAG at Protocol Labs. And did a bunch of product/design/swe internships at the Air Force, Wind River, and Blackberry.

This is the latest snapshot of my personality archetype.

Some things I believe in:

• Mouth closed, don't get fed.
• Desperation never served anybody. Suffering is a choice.
• Life is too short to play zero-sum games (e.g. status).
• Kindness isn't niceness. Signaling virtue is a vice.
• Character is grace when the chips are down.
• Grit is a superpower, but so is quitting.
• Be a hyperrealist. Dreams + Reality + Determination = A Successful Life.
